A. Siting :

« MALMEDY EXPO », 3 covered halls, total area : 6100 m2.,

Complete infrastructure (electricity, water, heating, ...),

Easy parking, playgroud for children,

Central location near major roads,

(Highway E42/A27: Liège-Prüm),

Near timberland spaces.

Center of the town of Malmedy to 300 M.,

Signaling access.

B. Focus on demonstration of forestry equipment :

On specific request and on reserved area:  *

• Possibility to made demonstration of forest engineering materiel in real site.

• Comparison of different forest materiel.

• Introduce the general public on forestry work.

• Several areas at disposition to made the following demonstration :

- Tractor for hauling,

- Mobile barkers,

- Materiel for clearing,

- Materiel for pruning,

- Chainsaw,

- Materiel for clearing,

- Grinder,

C. To group the different activites on a same area :

• Exhibitors from forestry materiel.

• Didactic stands.

• Bars et catering.

• Several animations.

D. To promote meetings and friendship between the actors of forestry word :

• Forestry atmosphere.

• Pleasant catering.

• Wine bar : fine wine of Pommard, Bourgogne.

• Usual awards of the Belgian Logging Championship (sunday at 19.00).
